Dunstan Day Results
The Wodonga Bowling Club hosted the annual Dunstan Day Tournament on Monday March 8. Twenty-two teams of fours contested the day’s event. After four games there were two four game winners- Lavington and Wangaratta playing off for the trophy and to be the overall winner of the tournament. The prize went to Wangaratta in a closely fought final.
Winners – Wangaratta Team:
Sk. Ian Brimblecombe, 3rd: Gary Sanders, 2nd: Laurie McDonald and Lead: Graeme Oats.
Runners-up – Lavington Team:
Sk. Max Scanlon, 3rd: Brian Arundel, 2nd: Bill Davidson, Lead: Les Waldron
Also in the winners circle were three teams from Wodonga and a team from Commercial Club.
