A Special Thankyou

A special thanks is accorded to our staff for all assistance provided to our club during recent lockdowns. Members need to be aware that our staff were on restricted hours and salary during this period. However, whilst on restricted work hours/salary they continued to work to ensure that our club was maintained in readiness for a reopening.

A special thankyou is offered to DJ for all the work that he and his band of volunteers did to ensure our Club Greens were maintained to ensure that we could all get back on the Greens as soon as restrictions were eased. Members need to be aware that, due to the recent restrictions, we are lucky to have our Greens at the standard they are at. DJ continued to work on our Greens even though he was on restricted hours/pay.

For members making comments on the standard of the Greens or services being provided by the club, you are advised  that our staff will be transitioning back to full duties and pay over the next week and after that time hopefully we can get back to some of normality in and around the club, subject to Covid restrictions.

To clarify the rules on members/patron numbers in the club (trading or functions) – currently we can have 30 people indoors (seated) and 100 people outdoors as long as they are all double vaccinated.

If one member/patron is partial or unvaccinated we are restricted to 10 people indoors and/or 20 people outdoors.

For Bowls Practice – maximum numbers to conduct the practice are allowed on the Greens. However, once off the Greens then the numbers allowed are those indicated above.

Regardless of the numbers please maintain a distance of 1.5 metres and your masks when inside or outside the club.
